estaba al acecho, sino que Dios permitió que cayera en sus manos, entonces yo
te señalaré un lugar donde pueda refugiarse”.
En el AT no se le da ningún rol a
la suerte o la casualidad y los accidentes son vistos con la participación activa
de Dios, como aquí. Mira como uno de ellos se explica por la voluntad de Dios.
Una teología formada sin raíces en el Antiguo Testamento procuraría disculpar a
Dios para que no tenga nada que ver con el accidente, y tal vez el producto sea
más filosofía que otra cosa. Es la misma forma de interpretación cuando leemos
que “Jehová endureció el corazón de Faraón…”. No que faraón lo endureció,
lo cual es cierto, pero excluye a Dios del programa. Así enseñó Dios a su
pueblo (Job 2:10; Am.3:6; Isa.54:6,7). Y si hurgas en el Nuevo Testamento
hallas esto, Ro.9:18-23. Los atributos divinos, omnipotencia, omnisciencia,
providencia, y muchas promesas, no permiten otra explicación, sin hacer a Dios
responsable del pecado, pero aceptándolo todo por fe y dejando lo que quede en
oscuridad en el misterio de su voluntad. Las cosas reveladas son para
escudriñarlas nosotros, pero las que no, hay que dejarlas a la secreta voluntad
de Dios (Deu.29:29). Si quiere introduzca la voluntad permisiva de Dios. Hay
cosas horribles que casi nadie tiene voluntad para alzar el dedo y decirle a
Dios: fuiste tú.

A theology formed without roots in the Old Testament would seek to excuse God so that it has nothing to do with the accident, and perhaps the product is more philosophy than anything else. It is the same form of interpretation when we read that "Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh ...". Not that Pharaoh hardened it, which is true, but it excludes God from the program. Thus God taught his people (Job 2:10, Am.3: 6, Isa.54: 6,7). And if you dig into the New Testament find this, Ro.9: 18-23. The divine attributes, omnipotence, omniscience, providence, and many promises, allow no other explanation, without making God responsible for sin, but accepting everything by faith and leaving what remains in darkness in the mystery of his will. The revealed things are to scrutinize us, but those that are not, must be left to the secret will of God (Deu.29: 29). If you want, enter the permissive will of God. There are horrible things that almost nobody has the will to raise his finger and tell God: it was you.
